Delectable and Healthy Homemade Teas to Cure and Revitalize Your Body

Rejuvenating the mind & body – transporting one to a world of reposefulness and tranquility; each sip of this flavorful beverage is an utterly blissful experience for its lovers.
My experiences with different variety of teas have been great so far. Being a Blogger  coping with the tiresome schedule of shootings every day, teas work best for me in keeping up my health and sustaining the spark of my youth.
Today, the tea market is indubitably growing wide yet to be certain of the purity and the authentic taste, many people seemingly settle on the home-brewed teas. 
I got acquainted with some delicious homemade teas for revitalizing the body. I have tried some of these and
they seem to do the magic in a week.
So, if you are also planning to prepare a cup of healthfulness in your kitchen, here
are some easy and healthy tea recipes to go for. 

 

1. Detox Tea


The chief purpose of this tea is to maintain the functioning of your bowel system and relieve IBS (Irritated Bowel Syndrome) and other such severe disorders of constipation.

Ingredients (SERVINGS – ONE GLASS)

  •  One teaspoon of Jeera (Cumin Seeds –
    Cuminum Cyminum)
  •  One teaspoon of Saunf (Fennel Bulbs – Foeniculum Vulgare)
  • Half teaspoon of Ajwain ( Carom Seeds – Trachyspermum ammi)
  •  Honey
    How to Prepare?
  •  Crush all these ingredients together to prepare a mixture
  • Boil the mixture with one glass of water for a couple of minutes
  •  Pour the mixture into a glass
  •  Add 3-6 drops of Honey
    Consume it for not more than two times a day.

2. Refreshing Tea


Apart from refreshing one mentally and physically, it treats migraine, clinical depression and neurosis. Moreover, this helps in recovering from heart strokes and the elderly are often suggested to have this tea regularly.


Ingredients (SERVINGS – ONE CUP):

  •  Seven to eight leaves of Tulsi (Holy Basil – Ocimum tenuiflorum)
  •  Saunf (Fennel Bulbs)


How to Prepare?
Boil the Tulsi leaves with a glass of water and a pinch of Saunf for two-three minutes.
Have this tea once a day.

3. Soothing Tea

This tea is helpful in curing PCOD related disorders –irregular menstrual cycle, heavy flow of blood, dysmenorrhea (menstrual cramps), etc.


Ingredients (SERVINGS – ONE CUP)

  • A glass of boiled Milk
  •  Haldi (Turmeric – Curcuma longa)
  • Half teaspoon Sugar
  •  Half teaspoon of Ghee (Clarified Butter)
    How to Prepare?
    Simply add these ingredients to the boiled milk and stir it well.
    You can take it with egg as well. It’s best to consume it on the very first day of your periods and if the pain remains consistent, you can continue taking it for another one day or so. Take this tea for a week (once in a day) in case of irregular menstrual cycle.


4. Flax Seed Tea


It’s helpful for treating puffy eyes as flax seeds contain Vitamin B12 which is necessary to cure this condition.


Ingredients (SERVINGS – ONE GLASS):

  •  2 glasses of water
  • 2 tablespoon of Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
  •  One teaspoon of Flax seds

 

How to Prepare?

  •  Boil the Flax seeds and Jeera with water till it reduces to the quantity of one glass of water
  •  Sieve the remedy and wait till it turns lukewarm

Once you consume it, drink another half glass of lukewarm water with sachets of green tea immersed in it. You can take it twice a day.

 

5. Purifying Tea


This tea is good for detoxification and rejuvenation of the body.


Ingredients (SERVINGS – ONE GLASS):

  •  1 tablespoon of Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
  • Saunf (Fenal Seeds)
    How to Prepare?
  •  Boil Jeera and a pinch of Saunf with water for two-three minutes.
  •  Pour it into a glass and add 2-3 teaspoon of Saunf
  •  Don’t sieve the mixture
    Consume it for not more than two times a day. This tea is not recommended to patients suffering from kidney disorders.


6. Reducing Tea

Ingredients (SERVINGS – ONE CUP):

  • A cup of already prepared Black Tea
  •  6-7 Kali Mirch (Peppercorns – Piper Nigrum)
  •  Half teaspoon of Ajwain (Carom Seeds)

How to Prepare?

Simply boil Kali Mirch and Ajwain with Black Tea for a couple of minutes.
You can take this on a regular basis.
